OnePlus Ace 3V Confirmed to Launch Later This Year, Company President Teases AI Features
The OnePlus Ace 3V will be released later this year. The model was previously found online with rumored specifications. Several leaks and reports have hinted at the expected specifications and price of the upcoming phone. The company officially announced the name and confirmed the release of the phone. Outside of China, it may be renamed the OnePlus Nord 4 and is seen as the successor to the OnePlus Ace 2V, dubbed the OnePlus Nord 3, launched in March 2023.
OnePlus China President Li Jie announced in a Weibo post that the OnePlus Ace 3V will be released in 2024. He did not provide a specific takeoff timeline, but said a launch is expected “soon.” It also announced that it will be a model with artificial intelligence features.
The OnePlus Ace 3V is reported to come with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset and up to 16GB of RAM. It has a 1.5K resolution display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 5500mAh battery with 100W charging support. The phone may also have an optical fingerprint sensor.
An earlier leak suggested that the OnePlus Ace 3V could be priced at CNY 2,000 (roughly Rs. 23,400) in China. After its launch in Chinese markets, it may be sold as OnePlus Nord 4 in global markets. The older version of the OnePlus Nord 3 is an updated version of the OnePlus Ace 2V.
Recently, a tipster claimed that the OnePlus Nord 4 could be codenamed “Audi” and will go on sale soon. It is speculated that the model may be marketed as the OnePlus Nord 5 without the number 4, as in some cultures this number is associated with bad omens. However, these speculations should be treated with caution and it can be assumed that more will be revealed about the alleged mobile phone in the coming weeks and months.
