OnePlus 13 may already be in line for a launch next month as it is going to be the next flagship product from the company. The latest reports indicate it could one of the first-handsets to be deployed with the rumored Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 coming from Qualcomm. The tipster, in another leak, has released a picture with the new changed rear camera layout of the OnePlus 13. He claims the front end will feature an upgraded periscope camera compared to that seen on the OnePlus 12.

Leaked by Digital Chat Station through Weibo using translations from Chinese, this shows what appears to be a protective case on the rumored OnePlus 13. While the camera layout was the same for both the OnePlus 12 and its predecessor, it seems that with this next flagship model, the company took it one step further and redesigned the camera island.
Alas, there still are no words from the company on whether the reported OnePlus 13 would sport a circular rear camera module, which, in my opinion, would seem to be a feature of OnePlus phones if the case shown in the leaked image is indeed a protector – It may not be known now, but time will tell.
OnePlus 13 Camera Upgrades (Leaked)
The source of this tip mentions that the OnePlus 13, like the phone’s predecessor OnePlus 12, is going to feature a new periscope camera sensor. As for the other camera hardware details, the user does not share it with the world. However, he states that the image-processing algorithm will be shared with the rumoured Oppo Find X8 series which is tipped to launch in China next month.
On paper, at least, an improved periscope camera complemented by Oppo’s image processing software and OnePlus’s partnership with Hasselblad could bring the OnePlus 13 to a place of far greater competitiveness with other phones when it comes to photography.
Previous leaks were suggesting that the OnePlus 13 will feature the primary 50-megapixel camera with a Sony LYT-808 sensor and an f/1.6 aperture, 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom. All is not lost though: there’s every chance that more about this smartphone will leak out in the run-up to its likely launch date.
