A 6500 mAh battery could be developed for the phone.
Weibo Tipster Digital Chat Station (Chinese translation) reported that the Ouga Group, which includes Oppo and OnePlus, will launch a mobile phone with a 6500mAh battery. The company is said to be testing prototypes of this battery using next-generation silicon materials. OnePlus was the first company to launch a mobile phone with a 6500 mAh battery.
OnePlus is said to be working on new phones with 1.5K and 2K resolutions, micro-bent screens and 6,000mAh batteries. These could be the OnePlus Ace 4 and OnePlus 13. If true, this would be a huge step up from the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus Ace 3, which have 5500mAh and 5400mAh batteries respectively.
OnePlus 13 specs (leaked)
Details about the OnePlus 13 emerged earlier this year. The OnePlus 13 is said to have an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and may be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. This could be the first OnePlus flagship to receive an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. 100W fast charging and the main camera’s 50-megapixel Sony LYT 808 sensor are still supported.
The OnePlus 13 is expected to launch in China in December. This will lead to a full build-out in early 2025. The OnePlus Ace 4, like the OnePlus Ace 3, will be officially released in January next year.
