OnePlus 12R was launched in India on Friday in a new color – Sunset Dune. According to the company, this color variant has been launched in memory configuration and comes with several offers including free EMI and free OnePlus Buds 3 with purchase. However, the updated color is just a cosmetic update and there is no significant change in the smartphone’s features. It’s the first of two smartphones OnePlus will launch this month, ahead of the OnePlus Nord 4 launch on July 16.
OnePlus 12R Sunset Dune Price in India
The OnePlus 12R Sunset Dune color variant is priced at Rs 42,999 in India. It will be available in the single 8GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration that was released in March. Regarding availability, the company confirmed that the phone will be available for purchase from July 20. The new Sunset Toon color variant joins Cool Blue and Iron Gray as the smartphone’s color options.
According to the company, customers will get a bank discount of Rs 3,000 on ICICI Bank and OneCard credit cards and EMI transactions. OnePlus also bundles the OnePlus Buds 3 with the OnePlus 12R Sunset Toon variant at no additional cost. If you don’t want to pay the entire amount at once, you can avail the 9-month free EMI option.
OnePlus 12R specifications
The OnePlus 12R features a 6.78-inch LTPO 4.0 AMOLED display with a resolution of 1264 x 2780 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB UFS. 3.1 Storage. It runs OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14. The smartphone has Cryo-Velocity cooling to preserve thermal performance.
In terms of optics, the phone has three rear cameras, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. There is also a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The OnePlus 12R packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 100W SuperVOOC wired charging.
