
The Nothing Phone 2a Plus was launched in India on Wednesday. The latest phone from the Carl P-led British brand features an upgrade to the Nothing Phone 2a. The Nothing Phone 2a Plus runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro 5G SoC and features dual 50-megapixel rear cameras and a 50-megapixel front camera. The new phone features an AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and retains the revised Glyph Nothing interface from the standard Phone 2a. It has a built-in 5000mAh battery and an IP54 standard structure.
The price of Phone 2a Plus in India is nothing
Nothing Phone 2a Plus is priced at Rs. 29,999 for the base configuration with 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage. The high-end 12GB RAM + 256GB storage version is priced at Rs. 31,999. It comes in Black and Gray colors and will be available via Flipkart from August 7th.
Specifications of None Phone 2a Plus
The Nothing Phone 2a Plus Dual-SIM (Nano) runs Nothing OS 2.6 based on Android 14, and the company promises three years of Android updates and four years of security patches for the new phone. The phone features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2412 pixels) AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a pixel density of 394ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display offers 1300 nits of maximum brightness and a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz. It features an octa-core 4 nm MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro 5G SoC with Mali-G610 MC4 GPU and up to 12 GB of RAM. For comparison: The Nothing Phone 2a is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC.
In the camera department, the Nothing Phone 2a Plus features a dual camera setup. The Samsung GN9 1/1.57-inch 50-megapixel main sensor features optical image stabilization (OIS) with f/1.88 aperture, 10x digital zoom and electronic image stabilization (EIS). The secondary 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 1/2.76-inch sensor offers a 114-degree field of view. On the front of the smartphone there is a 50-megapixel selfie camera Samsung JN1. This is a significant change from the Nothing Phone 2a’s 32-megapixel front camera.
Users can enjoy up to 256GB of internal storage on the Nothing Phone 2a Plus. The connectivity options of this smartphone include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6 Direct, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS, 360-degree antenna, and USB Type-C port. Internal sensors include accelerometer, electronic compass, ambient light sensor, gyroscope and proximity sensor. It has an under-display fingerprint sensor and a linear touch motor. In addition, the phone has a high-resolution microphone and two stereo speakers.
Nothing Phone 2a Plus features a dust and water resistant structure with IP54 standard. Like Nothing’s Phone 2a and Phone 1, this new device also features the Glyph interface. This LED-filled array lights up for calls and notifications.
The Nothing Phone 2a Plus is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 50W fast charging support and 5W reverse wired charging support. This battery is said to provide up to 40.6 hours of music playback on a single charge. In addition, the quick charging function is said to charge the battery from zero to 100 percent in 56 minutes. It measures 161.7 x 76.3 x 8.5 mm and weighs 190 grams.
