Udaipur, August 13 (Kiran News) – The Faculty of Science and Technology at PAHER University organised an awareness programme under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA). During the event, students pledged to stay away from intoxicants and committed themselves to creating a drug-free society.

Chief Guest and PAHER University President, Prof. Hemant Kothari, said, “Addiction is harmful to individuals, families, and society. It is our collective responsibility to make the younger generation aware of its ill effects.” He urged educational institutions to turn the de-addiction campaign into a mass movement.
Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Prof. Dilendra Hiran, appreciated the initiative, stating that the campaign was not only inspiring for students but also for society at large. “We must work together to fight against addiction,” he emphasised.
Dr. Divya Shekhawat advised students to stay away from all forms of intoxicants, while Dr. Paras Tank administered the oath. All faculty members were present at the programme.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from both teachers and students. The university management announced that similar awareness programmes will be organised from time to time to promote de-addiction.
