Udaipur, April 27 (Udaipur Kiran) – A newborn’s body was found near a petrol pump at Surajpol crossing in the city on Monday, triggering concern among locals and drawing a large crowd at the spot.

According to information, an unidentified person abandoned the body under a transformer located near the petrol pump at the busy intersection. People present at the petrol pump noticed dogs repeatedly trying to pull something from beneath the transformer. On checking, they discovered the body of a newborn and immediately informed the police.
Police personnel reached the spot, took custody of the body, and shifted it to the mortuary. A significant number of people gathered at the location during the incident.
Police have begun an investigation and are examining CCTV camera footage from the surrounding area to identify the person responsible.
