Udaipur, March 16, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): NCC cadet Avishi Paliwal, a student of the College of Science, has been honoured with the Maharana Raj Singh Award for her notable achievements at the national level in NCC activities. The honour was conferred during the 42nd Annual Award Ceremony organised by the Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation.

The award was presented at a grand ceremony held in the City Palace premises, where Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Chairman and Managing Trustee of the Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation, honoured Avishi Paliwal. She received a citation, a gold medal and a cheque of ₹21,000 as part of the award.
Notably, Avishi Paliwal from Udaipur participated last year in the Yamuna Bachao–Yamuna Safai campaign, undertaking a boat journey from Kanpur to Kolkata while actively contributing to the river cleanliness drive.
Later, during the Yuva Shakti Viksit Bharat campaign held in New Delhi, she was selected as an NCC cadet to represent Rajasthan after participating in the Ganga and Yamuna cleanliness initiatives. During the programme, she presented a symbol of the cleanliness campaign to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
As an NCC cadet, Avishi Paliwal has also achieved several accomplishments at the national level.
