Bhopal, Apr 20 : Madhya Pradesh Home Minister and government spokesman Narottam Mishra said on Wednesday that 154 individuals have been placed under arrest thus far in the wake of disturbances at Khargone district headquarters, which is still under curfew. “People are being identified on the basis of video footage. The National Security Act has been invoked against two of the accused. Mohsin alias Nati and Nawaz have more than ten and eight charges levelled against them respectively. The person who opened fire at the Superintendent of Police (Mr Sidharth Choudhary) was Wasim alias Mohsin. Betel leaf-seller Teju was apprehended in Indore on Tuesday. He is clearly seen pelting a stone,” Dr Mishra told the press here. AC
