Lenovo is claimed to be working on the Motorola Razr 50s, which is said to possibly end up being an affordable variant of the base Razr 50. However, the specifications of this rumored foldable phone emerged on a benchmarking website. According to reports, the specifications would include chipset details, RAM, and much more. The existence of this listing on the benchmarking website seems to indicate that the claimed handset could carry 8GB of RAM and run on an Android 14 OS. But not long ago, it has emerged that the Motorola Razr 50s also appeared on the HDR10+ certification website.
Motorola Razr 50s Geekbench Listing
A teardown by 91Mobiles suggests that the Motorola Razr 50s was spotted on the Geekbench 6 cross-platform benchmark site. It was listed sporting a motherboard branded ‘aito’ with an ARMv8 architecture. The eight-core processor, with four performance cores and four efficiency cores capped at 2.0GHz, is supposed to be on board. While there was no chipset revealed, it is speculated to be the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC which also informs the processor globally in the Razr 50.
The listing reportedly claims that it runs Android 14 and comes with RAM as high as 7.28GB. The said Motorola Razr 50s, the listing mentions, had achieved scores of 1,040 and 3,003 points in single-core and multi-core Geekbench tests. These numbers go on to appear quite severely undercutting the Geekbench scores of the Razr 50 Ultra which stood at 1,926 and 4,950 points during the respective tests carried out by Gadgets 360.
However, this does not have to be so when pitted against the standard Razr 50, with which it scored the same on Geekbench.
While we couldn’t cross verify the Geekbench 6.3.0 scores reported by Gadget 360 employees, we were, however able to get the Geekbench AI scores of the phone. And in the listing, the said Motorola Razr 50s scored 889 points in the single precision test. Meanwhile, the half-precision and the quantised scores came out to be 887 and 1,895 points, respectively.
