It seems that Motorola will unveil another Moto G series smartphone after releasing the Moto G04 and Moto G04s. On Tuesday (April 9), the Chinese smartphone maker announced the arrival of a new device in a social media post, without revealing the name or launch date.
The next phone is said to be the Moto G64. It could be the successor to the Moto G54 5G that was officially launched in India last year. Meanwhile, a whistleblower shared an image of the Moto G64 online. Additionally, the phone was listed on benchmarking website Geekbench with very low specs.
Motorola announced the release of its new smartphone in this country by publishing a teaser for the X. The post has the tagline “Prepare for ultimate performance and endless fun” and the hashtag UnleashTheBeast. Although the company has not confirmed its name, it is widely speculated that the Moto G64 5G will soon carry many of the features of last year’s Moto G54 5G.
Meanwhile, Evan Blass (@evleaks) shared an alleged image of the Moto G64 5G in a blue and green color scheme. It has a perforated screen design and slightly curved edges. The images show a 50-megapixel dual camera on the back with optical image stabilization.
Additionally, the Moto G64 5G has appeared on the Geekbench website. The list shows 1026 points in the single-core test and 2458 points in the multi-core CPU test. According to the listing, the phone has 12GB RAM and Android 14 operating system.
The listing also reveals that the Moto G64 5G is powered by an octa-core chipset with a maximum clock speed of 2.50 GHz. This chipset is probably a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 SoC.
The Moto G54 5G was launched in India in September last year at a price of Rs 10,000. Earlier this year, the company slashed the price of its phones by up to Rs 200 million. 3000.
