As seen on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, the phone may launch in India soon. The Motorola Edge 50 is expected to be the successor to last year’s Motorola Edge 40. It comes with a 5000mAh battery that supports 68W charging.

MySmartPrice spotted an ad for a Motorola Edge 50 with model number XT2407-3 on the BIS website. The phone’s listing was released on Monday and suggests that the launch is likely to happen in the coming weeks or months. However, Motorola has not yet officially announced the details of this mobile phone.
There are also listings for the same XT2407-3 model number on the FCC website. The listing says that the phone supports 5G connectivity, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and Wi-Fi 6. It is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging.
The Motorola Edge 50 is likely to join the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, Edge 50 Ultra and Edge 50 Fusion already launched in the country. It is expected to offer updates to last year’s Motorola Edge 40 phone.

The Motorola Edge 40 has a 4,400mAh battery with support for 68W TurboPower wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
