Moto Razr 50 Ultra With Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Chip, 4-Inch Cover Display Launched Alongside Razr 50: Price, Specifications

The Moto Razr 50 and Moto Razr 50 Ultra were launched in China on Tuesday as the latest foldable smartphones from the Lenovo-owned brand. It features an aluminum frame and a 6.9-inch internal screen. The Moto Razr 50 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and the Moto Razr 50 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC. Both models run on Android 14 with Hello UI and have a 50-megapixel main camera. It features the IPX8 standard for water resistance.

The Moto Razr 50 Ultra starts at 5,699 yuan (approximately Rs. 66,000) for the 12GB + 256GB model and 6,199 yuan (approximately Rs. 74,000) for the 12GB + 512GB model. Color options include Modern Green, Peach Fuzz and Vintage Denim (translated from Chinese).

On the other hand, the Moto Razr 50 starts at 3,699 yuan (roughly Rs. 47,000) for the 8GB + 256GB variant and 3,999 yuan (roughly Rs. 50,000) for the 12GB + 512GB variant. It is available in Elephant Gray, Moon Velvet Black and Love Orange (translated from Chinese) colors. Both models are currently available for pre-order in China.

The Moto Razr 50 Ultra runs Android 14-based MyUX and features a 6.9-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2640 pixels) POLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and 413ppi pixel density. It features a 4-inch POLED display (1080 x 1272 pixels) with a refresh rate of 165 Hz and a pixel density of 417 ppi. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and is paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM.

For photos and videos, the Moto Razr 50 Ultra has a dual rear camera, consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with support for optical image stabilization (OIS). There’s a 32-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video chats.

The Moto Razr 50 Ultra is available in 256GB and 512GB UFS 4.x internal storage options. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C port. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication.

Motorola has launched the Moto Razr 50 Ultra with a 4000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. It measures 170.42 x 73.99 x 7.09 mm and weighs 189 grams.

The Moto Razr 50 has the same software and internal display as the Moto Razr 50 Ultra, but the display has a 120Hz refresh rate. The standard model has a 3.6-inch Full HD+ POLED display (1056 x 1066 pixels) with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. It includes a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chipset with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of internal storage.

Like its bigger brother, the Moto Razr 50 features a dual rear camera unit consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera. There is a 32-megapixel sensor on the front. Connectivity options and sensors are the same as the Ultra model. There is a fingerprint sensor on the side.

The Moto Razr 50 is powered by a 4200mAh battery unit that supports 30W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. It measures 171.3 x 73.99 x 7.25 mm and weighs 188.4 grams.

Motorola uses the Air Nanoskin 6000 Aviation Series aluminum midframe for the Moto Razr 50 series. It features an IPX8 waterproof structure.
