Motorola is launching its new premium smartphone in India today (April 3). The Lenovo-owned smartphone maker is launching the Moto Edge 50 Pro smartphone in the country today. The company has scheduled the presentation of its premium mid-range smartphone for 11 am. The presentation will also be broadcast live on the company’s official YouTube channel.
“Get ready for a merger that will change the future! Motorola is ready to create a masterpiece; It goes beyond borders and takes you to a world where knowledge meets art,” the invitation reads.
Moto Edge 50 Pro specifications confirmed
Motorola has officially announced that the mid-range Moto Edge 50 Pro will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. This mid-range chipset is powered by the FastConnect 6700 and supports Wi-Fi 6/6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
The upcoming Moto Edge 50 Pro features a 6.7-inch POLED display with 1.5K resolution and an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. Motorola promises consumers Pantone-verified colors for accurate, true-to-life color reproduction.
Moto Edge 50 Pro also offers features like Style Sync AI theme generation mode and adaptive AI stabilization for videos. It has a 50MP selfie camera and a genuine leather back that supports 50W wireless charging.
In terms of software, the smartphone will be based on Android 14 and will receive an operating system update every three years.
Expected price of Moto Edge 50 Pro
Several online rumors suggest that the company will launch only one variant of the Moto Edge 50 Pro. The smartphone has 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal memory. This smartphone is priced around Rs 45,000. Motorola’s premium smartphone is available online on Flipkart.
