The Moto Buds feature a single 12.4mm dynamic driver, while the Moto Buds+ feature dual dynamic drivers that include an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter. The Buds support up to 50 dB ANC, while the Moto Buds+ offer up to 46 dB ANC. These headphones have three preset noise cancellation modes: Clear, Adaptive and Noise Canceling.
In addition to the “Sound by Bose” tag, the high-end Moto Buds+ also offer Dolby Head Tracking, which helps adjust the sound based on head movements. Dolby Atmos is also supported. Both Moto Buds and Moto Buds+ are Hi-Res Audio certified. Both headphone charging cases support USB Type-C charging, but the Moto Buds+ case also supports wireless charging.
The charging cases for Moto Buds and Moto Buds+ are splash-proof according to IPX4. On the other hand, the Moto Buds+ headphones are IP54 dust and splash-proof. The headphones also support Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. The weight of the Moto Buds charging case and headphones is 36 grams, the weight of the Moto Buds + is 42.8 grams.
