Udaipur, May 19 (Udaipur Kiran) — The body of businessman and swimmer Lalit Mehta, who had been missing for the past two days, was recovered from Fateh Sagar Lake on Tuesday morning.

According to officials, the body was found near the fountain area of the lake at around 6:30 am after an intensive search operation carried out continuously for two days.
Lalit Mehta had reportedly been teaching children swimming at Fateh Sagar for nearly 20 years. He had reached the lake around 8 am on Sunday. CCTV footage installed near the lake reportedly showed him entering the water.
After he went missing, Civil Defence teams launched a large-scale search operation and continued rescue efforts for two days. On Tuesday morning, the teams located his body near the fountain area inside the lake.
