Mauni Baba, whose real name is Dinesh Chandra Brahmachari, resides at the Shiv Shakti Bajrang Dham Ashram in Pratapgarh. Known for his unwavering discipline, he survives by consuming at least ten cups of tea daily, which he considers sufficient for his nutritional needs. Even visitors to his ashram receive tea as a form of blessing.

Baba’s journey into sainthood began with a deep-rooted spiritual calling. Coming from a family of educators, he experienced a turning point early in life when his father, a school principal, passed away unexpectedly. Although offered a government job on compassionate grounds, Mauni Baba renounced worldly pursuits in favor of a life dedicated to spiritual growth and social service.

Free Coaching for Civil Service Aspirants

Despite his vow of silence, Mauni Baba plays a significant role in shaping the careers of aspiring civil servants. Using handwritten notes and WhatsApp, he provides free coaching to students preparing for the prestigious civil services examination. Baba holds a B.Sc. in Biology and combines his academic knowledge with spiritual insights to guide his students effectively.

According to Baba, several of his students have successfully cleared the civil services exams and gone on to serve the nation. His commitment to their success is unwavering, and his unique teaching methods continue to inspire both his followers and the broader community.
