New Delhi : India’s largest car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki, announced on Wednesday that it will raise the prices of its popular Swift and Grand Vitara Sigma models by INR 25,000 and INR 19,000, respectively.
Before the price hike, the various versions of the Swift were priced between INR 5.99 lakh and INR 9.03 lakh. Similarly, the Grand Vitara’s prices ranged from INR 10.80 lakh to INR 20.09 lakh.

Both cars from the company have garnered significant popularity. In March this year, the Swift recorded sales of 15,728 units, making it one of the top five selling models in the country.
Last month, Maruti Suzuki had already increased the prices of its cars by 0.45% citing rising costs.
