Udaipur : Narayan Seva Sansthan – a non- profit organization, will be organizing a mass wedding for differently-abled and underprivileged couples on 8th & 9th September, 2018 at Udaipur. The two days long gala event will witness 54 pairs fulfilling the customary rites to start a new beginning of their lives. Narayan Seva Sansthan has successfully organized 30 mass marriage ceremonies in last 18 years for differently able and underprivileged couples. 1349 such pairs have been tied in the lifelong knot of marriage through these ceremonies across India, said Mr. Prashant Agarwal, President of Narayan Seva Sansthan at the press conference here at Hotel Vishnupriya , today. Devendra Chobisa, Director at NSS, Vishnu Sharma Hitaishi, Media Coordinator, along with Deepak Menariya & Rajat Gaur were also present at the conference.
The marriage procession and ceremonies will be grand events. The brides and the bridegrooms will be accompanied by the family members of the couples, Sadhaks and the respective guests. The entire ceremony will be carried through high priests as per cultural rituals. Most of these pairs have undergone ‘free of cost’ corrective surgery for their disabilities at the Sansthan and completed their training there.

One of such initiative is mass wedding for differently-abled and underprivileged couples that we are performing from past 18 years. We not only organize the wedding without any cost to couples but also provide them livelihood and support to start their new lives post marriage. Blessings from such couples and their families are what keep us going towards our goal.”
There will be 54 wedding vediyas being decorated at the Venue. 54 saints will be called to execute the marriage rituals under the guidance of Chief Acharya. The entire saint community will be present for the 2 day long wedding ceremony. Mass Marriage Ceremony will commence on Saturday, September 8, at 5 pm. There will be decorated bindauli’s procession. The ceremony will be attended by associates, guests and people of the institute who are coming from different parts of the country. Kith & Kins as barati’s will be performing dance & celebrations for this auspicious occasion. On Sunday, 9th September, Toran & Varamala ceremony will be organized from 10am onwards.
Agarwal informed special arrangements of vehicles have been made by the institute to bring and relocate the wedding couples. The registration committee, Lodging & boarding Committee, food Arrangements, Tent arrangement committee, Guest welcome committee, Traffic system, Bindoli arrangement committee, security arrangement committee, sanitation system committee, beauty parlour committee has been formed. Associate and guests of the institute from Delhi, Mumbai, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Jodhpur, Indore, Agra, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Aligarh, Poona, Rajkot, Dehradun, Patna and Baroda will attend the ceremony to bless the newlywed couples.
There will be Ganpati Isthapana on the first day of the ceremony, at 10 a.m. At 10:15 am Donors will be felicitated. At 11:30 am there will be a mehandi ceremony and at 5 pm, the grand Bindauli’s will be processed. On the second day ie 9th September, the ritual of Toran will be performed at 10 a.m. Varmala and other rituals will be organized at 11am in the morning. The ceremony will be concluded at 3:00pm with Bidai Ceremony.
