Udaipur: Under the strict directives of District Superintendent of Police, Udaipur, Yogesh Goyal, the Pratapnagar Police Station conducted a major operation against narcotics smuggling, successfully arresting two drug traffickers and seizing 1.126 kg of illegal opium milk. The contraband, which was being transported in a Swift car, has an estimated market value of ₹2 lakh.
The operation was carried out as part of an ongoing anti-drug crackdown led by Additional Superintendent of Police, Udaipur, Umesh Ojha, and Circle Officer, East City, Chhagan Rajpurohit, under the supervision of Station Officer, Rajendra Singh Charan.

Modus Operandi – Smugglers Used Rural Routes to Evade Police Checkpoints
Preliminary investigations revealed that the accused were transporting the illegal opium milk using interior rural roads to bypass police checkpoints. The smugglers purchased illegal opium milk and used a car to distribute it in various locations.
