Aurangabad/Mumbai : NCP state president and state Water Resources Minister Jayant Patil on Sunday urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ensure safety of Indian student in Ukraine and evacuate the Indian nationals stranded there. In his tweet Patil stated that the tension on the Russia-Ukraine border has been escalating for the last 15 days.
There are approximately 18,000 Indians, most of them students in Ukraine, waiting for government help. I request to PM to ensure the safety of the students and evacuate them asap. They are our future, he tweeted.
