BHOPAL, April 1, 2025 — Weather conditions in Madhya Pradesh are set to shift dramatically over the next four days, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issuing multiple alerts for rainfall, thunderstorms, and hailstorms across several districts. A significant drop in temperature is also expected during this period, bringing much-needed relief from the early summer heat.

Weather System Behind the Change

According to IMD, a trough extending from South Chhattisgarh through Vidarbha to Central Maharashtra, along with an associated cyclonic circulation, is responsible for the upcoming unseasonal weather activity. The changes are expected to begin in the southern parts of Madhya Pradesh, gradually spreading across the state.
