New Delhi, July 16: On the occasion of the commencement of the Jagannath Rath Yatra, President Droupadi Murmu, along with several Chief Ministers and Union Ministers, extended their greetings. The President prayed for the continuous prosperity and well-being of the nation and its people through the blessings of Lord Jagannath.
In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, President Murmu stated, “On this auspicious occasion of Mahaprabhu’s Rath Yatra, I extend heartfelt wishes to all devotees of Lord Jagannath, both in India and abroad. It is believed that during this sacred journey, Mahaprabhu Jagannath meets his devotees along with his siblings, Balabhadra and Subhadra. This emotional occasion of the meeting between the devotees and the Lord is unique. I pray that with the blessings of Mahaprabhu Jagannath, the prosperity of our country and its people continues to grow. Jai Jagannath.”
Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also shared his wishes, saying, “To Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra, I offer my salutations. I wish all citizens and devotees heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on the commencement of Lord Jagannath’s holy Rath Yatra. May the blessings of Mahaprabhu Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra shower upon everyone, filling every home with wealth and happiness.”
Union Power Minister Manohar Lal conveyed similar sentiments, expressing, “Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all devotees on the commencement of Mahaprabhu Jagannath’s holy Rath Yatra. May the blessings of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra be with everyone, bringing joy, prosperity, and happiness to every household.”
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath shared his wishes on ‘X’, stating, “Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all devotees on the commencement of the Rath Yatra, a symbol of deep faith in Sanatan culture, social harmony, and public welfare. May the blessings of Mahaprabhu Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Mother Subhadra continue to shine upon the world, bringing happiness, peace, prosperity, and health to all.”
Other leaders, including Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, also extended their greetings, emphasizing the significance of the Rath Yatra in promoting unity, service, and public welfare.
