Kota, August 6, 2026: Kota city will witness a scheduled power cut today due to maintenance work on electricity lines. Power supply will remain disrupted in several areas from morning to afternoon for the specified duration.
The shutdown has been taken by the private electricity company to carry out maintenance of electricity lines and transformers. During this period, technical teams will inspect wiring, poles and feeders.
The company has appealed to residents to complete necessary work in advance and maintain cooperation. Electricity supply will be restored in the affected areas after the completion of maintenance work.
Power Cut Timings and Affected Areas
10:30 AM to 2:30 PM:
Electricity supply will remain affected for four hours in Vijaypada, Kotwali Ki Gali, areas around Vasundhara Marriage Hall, Arya Samaj Main Road and Gandhi Chowk Main Road.
11:00 AM to 2:00 PM:
A three-hour power cut will be observed in Chandra Villa, Chandra Homes, Om Vatika, Sogaria Railway Gate and surrounding areas of Sogaria.
11:00 AM to 3:00 PM:
Power supply will remain disrupted for four hours in Poonam Colony, Gyan Vihar, Durga Nagar, Gujarati Mohalla and Labour Chauraha and nearby areas.
