Kolkata, May 6: The atmosphere in Kolkata is one of celebration following the BJP’s victory in West Bengal. Many residents have highlighted women’s safety as a primary concern in their reactions.
A young woman stated, “Most people are saying that changing the government is a good thing. All women want their safety to be increased, which the TMC government failed to provide.”
Student Sanchita expressed hope, saying, “Changing the government was the right decision. The new government is expected to work on the safety of women and girls.”
Abhishek Harlalka commented, “Change is the law of the world. The people have chosen a new government in West Bengal this time. I hope the new government fulfills its promises.”
Brijesh Singh remarked, “It was essential to change the government in West Bengal. I hope the new government brings the backward Bengal onto the path of development.”
