Mumbai, January 13 – Veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher is set to appear in the sequel of the cult classic film Khosla Ka Ghosla. On Tuesday, the actor engaged with fans by sharing his excitement and curiosity about the film’s upcoming installment.
The original film, released in 2006, has now begun shooting for its second chapter. Anupam Kher posted pictures on Instagram featuring the original cast members, including Ranvir Shorey, Parveen Dabas, Kiran Juneja, and Tara Sharma among others.
He wrote, “Khosla is back, and in a smashing style. I have worked in films for over four decades, but I have never seen such tremendous excitement for a sequel, not even for foreign films, as I am seeing for ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla 2’.”
Anupam Kher further added, “I really want to know what it is about this film that excites people of all ages so much? Please share your thoughts. Jai Mata Di.”
The original Khosla Ka Ghosla was directed by Dibakar Banerjee. It was a Hindi comedy-drama centered on a man fighting a fraudulent builder to reclaim his land in Delhi. The film starred Anupam Kher, Vinay Pathak, and Ranvir Shorey in key roles and was widely appreciated for its unique humorous storyline.
The sequel, directed by Umesh Bisht, will continue the story with some new characters, promising to offer a blend of family, property disputes, and humor. The film is expected to release in 2026.
