Udaipur, January 19: (Udaipur Kiran). The JSR State Advocate Premier League, a state-level cricket tournament for advocates, will be organised in Udaipur from January 23 to January 26 under the joint aegis of the Bar Association Udaipur and JSR Ganesh Foundation.

Addressing a press conference at the Bar Auditorium on Monday, newly elected Bar Association President Jitendra Jain said the tournament is being sponsored by JSR Ganesh Foundation, Udaipur. He said advocates from across Rajasthan will showcase their cricketing skills, providing thrilling matches for cricket lovers in the city.
The tournament will commence on January 23 and matches will be played till January 26 at various grounds including MB College B Ground, BN College Ground, Shikarbadi Ground and Pacific Ground, Karanpur.
President Jain informed that teams from across the state will participate in the tournament. Udaipur, Jaipur and Jodhpur will field two teams each, while one team each will represent Ajmer, Bhilwara, Bundi, Jhunjhunu, Sri Ganganagar, Bikaner, Banswara, Hanumangarh and Alwar.
Vice President Mahendra Menaria said that the Udaipur Bar Association team has won the state-level title eight times in the past. He added that hosting the state-level tournament in Udaipur is a matter of pride for the Bar Association.
General Secretary Lokesh Gurjar said accommodation arrangements have been made for all visiting teams within a one-kilometre radius of the match grounds. Buses arranged by the Bar Association will transport players to the grounds on time.
Media In-charge of the tournament Harish Paliwal said that various committees have been formed to ensure smooth conduct of the event, including accommodation, food, publicity, main ceremony, closing ceremony and prize distribution committees. Responsibilities have been clearly assigned to ensure proper coordination.
Several office bearers and advocates were present during the press conference, including Executive Secretary Ashish Kumar Kothari, Finance Secretary Dharmendra Soni, Library Secretary Vinod Audichya, Prem Singh Pawar, Advocate Devendra Singh Jhala, Harish Sharma, Ayush Arora, Lalit Singh Chauhan, Dilip Suthar and others.
