Jio Platforms Emerges as India’s Biggest Global IP Creator in 2024–25

Mumbai, 18 December (Udaipur Kiran) — Jio Platforms Limited (JPL) has been recognised as India’s single largest global intellectual property (IP) creator, far ahead of all Indian companies and research institutions, according to the 2024–25 Annual Report of the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks.

Echoing this vision, Akash Ambani, Director, Reliance Industries, said Jio’s deep-tech shift is now “unmistakable,” built entirely on technology designed and developed in India.
“From developing our very own 5G Core, to rolling out the fastest 5G services, and now deploying our global-first home connect technology, we have cemented our place as a Deep-Tech company,” he said.
