Jaipur : Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (Jio), the market leader with the largest subscriber base, further consolidates its position in Rajasthan. As per the latest TRAI subscriber data report for February 2024, Jio added 1.03 lakh new wireless subscribers in Rajasthan.
In the same period, Bharti Airtel and BSNL added 55,659 subscribers and 18,740 subscribers, respectively. Whereas Vodafone Idea lost 47,637 existing subscribers in Rajasthan. With a cumulative subscriber base of 2.66 crores in the region, Jio also has launched 5G Services in over 350 Towns and cities in Rajasthan and has the widest and largest 5G coverage in the state.
Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea, and BSNL recorded a wireless subscriber base of 2.32 crores, 1.07 crores, and 56.77 lakhs, respectively, in the same period. The total telecom subscriber number in Rajasthan is 6.63 crores as of February 29, 2024.
