Police had got some information on Naxals presence. When the security personnel went to the area, the Naxals carried out a landmine blast and opened fire, killing six Jawans.
Some personnel of the force were also injured in the incident. The injured have been admitted in hospital.
Additional security personnel have been rushed to the area.
