Udaipur, March 12, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): MDS Senior Secondary School in Udaipur organised a “Meet the Champion” programme where former student Kalpit Veerwal, who secured All India Rank 1 in JEE Main 2017 with a perfect score of 360 out of 360, interacted with students and shared insights on academic success. His remarkable achievement is also recorded in the Limca Book of Records.
During the session, Kalpit Veerwal offered valuable guidance to students moving from Class 10 to Class 11, focusing on strategies for preparing for competitive examinations. He emphasised the importance of integrated school programmes, stating that such systems allow students to benefit from both school education and coaching within a single academic structure, helping them prepare in a more organised and effective manner.
On the occasion, Veerwal also met his former teachers—Ravi Ranjan, Nitin Suhane, and Dilip Jain—and expressed gratitude for their guidance and support during his academic journey.
School Director and educationist Dr. Shailendra Somani said that the integrated programme at MDS is one of the oldest and most successful initiatives in Udaipur. He added that the programme has consistently delivered the highest number of selections in JEE and NEET from the city.
According to him, from 2009 to 2025, several students from the programme have secured admissions in IITs, NITs, and leading government medical colleges across the country.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who expressed motivation and determination to pursue their academic goals after interacting with the JEE topper.
