Mumbai, 3 September (Kiran News): JBL has announced the launch of its latest portable Bluetooth speaker, the Grip, designed for music lovers who want both portability and performance. Priced at $99, the Grip fits perfectly between the brand’s Clip and Flip models and is now available for pre-order.

The JBL Grip stands out as the company’s first upright portable speaker, featuring a compact design that makes it easy to carry and use on the go. With an IP68 rating, the speaker is fully waterproof, dustproof, and drop-resistant, making it ideal for outdoor adventures. JBL has also used recycled materials in its construction, highlighting the brand’s commitment to sustainability.
Key features include a 14-hour battery life with “PlaytimeBoost” enabled, customizable ambient lighting, and a built-in rope hook for easy carrying. The speaker delivers 16W of JBL Pro Sound through a 43 x 80mm full-range transducer and supports Bluetooth 5.4 with Auracast for multi-speaker pairing.
The Grip’s upright, curved design not only saves space but also provides easier access to its oversized buttons and controls. Users can further personalize the sound using the JBL Portable app. Charging is done via USB-C, with a full charge taking about three hours.
