
Both Amazon and iQoo India have created dedicated micropages on their websites to announce the launch of the iQoo Z9 5G. The listing confirms that the phone will have an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1800 nits peak brightness and 300Hz touch sampling rate. It is advertised with two stereo speakers. The teasers show the matte green color variant of the phone.
The iQoo Z9 5G has two rear cameras, including a 50MP Sony IMX882 camera with OIS and a 5000mAh battery. Its thickness is 7.83 mm.
It has already been confirmed that the iQoo Z9 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC. It is said to be the first phone in this segment to feature the Dimensity 7200 chipset and is reported to have scored 7,34,000 in the AnTuTu 10 benchmark.
The iQoo Z9 5G will go on sale in India on March 12. It is expected to be the successor to last year’s iQoo Z7 5G. The latter was priced at Rs 18,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant in March last year. The iQoo Z8 was released in China last September but not yet in India.
The iQoo Z7 5G features a 6.38-inch Full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC, and 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. There is a 64 MP dual camera on the back and a 16 MP front camera. It is equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 120W fast wired charging.
