iQOO 13 India Launch Date Leaked as Handset Surfaces on Geekbench With Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 Chipset

The iQOO 13, the upcoming flagship smartphone from Vivo’s subsidiary, is rumored to launch in India by the end of this year, according to details shared by a tipster. Expected to be unveiled in China next month, it will be among the first devices to feature Qualcomm’s next-generation chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. The smartphone has also surfaced on the benchmarking site Geekbench, providing insights into its performance with the new chipset.

A Smartprix report, citing tipster Yogesh Brar, suggests that the iQOO 13 could launch in India on December 5. The smartphone will likely be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (also referred to as the Snapdragon 8 Elite), which is expected to be unveiled later this month.

Although the official launch date for the iQOO 13 has not yet been confirmed for China or global markets, it’s worth noting that last year, iQOO released the iQOO 12 in November in China, with its India launch following in December.

iQOO 13 Performance on Geekbench

A Geekbench listing for a device with the model number V2408A (believed to be the iQOO 13) reveals the phone’s impressive performance. According to the listing, the smartphone will feature an octa-core processor with two performance cores clocked at 4.32GHz and six efficiency cores clocked at 3.53GHz.

The listing also shows that the iQOO 13 will have 14.76GB of RAM, suggesting that it will come in a 16GB variant. Additionally, it will run on Android 15, likely featuring Vivo’s FuntouchOS 15 skin.

Benchmark Results

The iQOO 13 scored 3,142 points in the single-core test and 10,052 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench. These results surpass those of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, which reportedly scored 3,069 points in the single-core and 9,080 points in the multi-core tests, using an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.

However, the iPhone 16 Pro Max achieved a higher score of 3,562 points in the single-core test, although its multi-core score of 8,814 points was lower than the iQOO 13’s.

The benchmark results indicate that the iQOO 13 could be one of the most powerful smartphones released in the near future. Its performance, combined with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, positions it as a strong competitor to other flagship devices. As more smartphones featuring both the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and Dimensity 9400 chipsets are launched, we can expect further comparisons and insights into how the iQOO 13 holds up against its rivals.
