Kolkata, May 2: A great opportunity has emerged for youth aspiring to kickstart their professional careers with a government institution. Coal India Limited (CIL) has invited applications from eligible candidates for a total of 34 positions as part of the Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS) at its headquarters in Kolkata and the NEC office in Margherita, Assam.
Among the 34 vacancies announced by Coal India for PMIS interns, 20 positions are based at the CIL headquarters in Kolkata, while 14 are located in the northeastern coal region of Margherita, Assam.
The online application process commenced on April 27, and the last date to apply is set for May 16. Candidates interested in filling out the application form can register on the official PMIS website before or by the deadline.
Applicants must possess an ITI in Secretarial Practice (English), Computer Operator and Programming Assistant, Stenographer, or Secretarial Assistant (Hindi) from a recognized institution or university.
To apply online, candidates should first visit the official PMIS portal. After reaching the homepage, they need to click on the active application link for the relevant position. Following this, they should register and log in. All requested information must be entered in the form, and documents should be uploaded in the correct size. Finally, candidates should review and submit the registration form, and keep a printed copy of the application for future reference.
