Insolation Energy Gains on ₹113 Cr Solar Project Win under PM-KUSUM

Mumbai, September 16 (Patrika English News). Shares of Insolation Energy rose nearly 2% on Tuesday after its subsidiaries secured Letters of Award (LoAs) for a 34 MW solar power project under the PM-KUSUM Component A scheme from Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd (JDVVNL).

The stock opened at ₹194.80 on the BSE and touched a high of ₹196.95 before trading at ₹196.95, up by ₹3.20 or 1.65% from the previous close of ₹193.75. Around 1.02 lakh shares were traded on the counter. The company’s market capitalisation currently stands at ₹4,339.66 crore.

The LoAs, awarded to Insolation Green Infra, MGVI Green Infra One, and MGVI Green Infra Two, cover the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and 25 years of operation and maintenance for grid-connected solar plants across 17 sites in Rajasthan. The projects, scheduled for execution in FY 2026–27, also include 11 kV line connections to 33/11 kV substations and remote monitoring systems.

The combined 34 MW solar capacity will be set up at an estimated investment of ₹113 crore (including GST) and is expected to generate annual revenue of around ₹14.74 crore. The final levelised tariff has been fixed at ₹3.02 per unit for one site, ₹2.70 for 13 sites, and ₹2.65 for three sites.
