After much anticipation, Infinix has officially announced the India launch date for its upcoming budget 5G smartphone — the Infinix Note 50x. The device is scheduled to launch on March 27, and ahead of the event, the company has revealed key specifications, color variants, and its expected price range.

Targeted at value-conscious users seeking premium features and strong performance, the Note 50x brings notable upgrades in design, battery, and gaming capabilities.
MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate: A First in the Segment
At the heart of the Infinix Note 50x is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor, paired with the Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. This marks the first time this “Ultimate” variant of the chipset is making its debut in a smartphone, promising a performance boost over the standard Dimensity 7300 seen in devices like the CMF Phone 1 and Lava Agni 3.
While real-world performance comparisons remain to be seen, Infinix has promised 90FPS gaming support — although the specific titles that will support this have not been disclosed. The company is marketing the phone as capable of delivering a lag-free gaming experience, suggesting optimization for mobile gamers.
Bigger Battery, Familiar Charging
One of the notable hardware upgrades comes in the form of a 5,500mAh battery, up from the 5,000mAh unit on its predecessor. Charging remains at 45W wired fast charging, and the charger is included in the box, a feature that’s becoming rare in today’s market.
Additionally, the Note 50x supports 10W reverse wired charging, enabling users to power up other devices on the go.
Rugged Yet Stylish: Design and Durability
Design-wise, the Note 50x retains the brand’s familiar camera housing and introduces Active Halo Lighting, which allows the camera flash to double as a notification light — a practical touch for those who prefer visual alerts.
Despite being a budget phone, the Note 50x boasts MIL-STD 810H certification, indicating a degree of durability that sets it apart in the sub-₹12,000 category. The teaser images reveal minimal side bezels with a noticeable chin, aligning with most phones in its segment.
Color Variants and Price Range
Infinix will launch the Note 50x in three color options:
- Sea Breeze Green (with a premium vegan leather back)
- Enchanted Purple
- Titanium Grey
The latter two will feature a polycarbonate finish, keeping the phone lightweight and accessible.
As for pricing, Infinix has confirmed that the Note 50x will be priced under ₹12,000, making it one of the most affordable 5G smartphones with the Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chip in the Indian market.
