Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G series has been confirmed to launch in India in April. The range includes the Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G and Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G, which were launched globally in March this year. The phone uses a MediaTek Dimensity chipset and a 108-megapixel triple rear camera setup. The Indian version of the device is expected to have similar specifications as the global device. Infinix has also revealed the color options and some key features of the upcoming phone. Meanwhile, a report mentions the exact release date of this phone.
An Indian report from 91Mobiles suggests that the Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G series could launch in India on April 12. This report adds that the price and sales details of the device will be announced on the same day. The availability of Flipkart’s smartphone microsite on the e-commerce website has already been confirmed.
The microsite has been updated with some new details about the phone. It confirms that the 5G models of the Infinix Note 40 Pro series will launch with the all-round FastCharge 2.0 technology, which is said to enable 100W wired overcharging, 20W wireless Mag charging and reverse wireless charging. The battery of this phone is proven to have a capacity of 5000 mAh.
The Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G series smartphone supports the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chip along with 12GB of RAM, expandable up to 12GB. It also features the Infinix X1 Cheetah chipset and a 120Hz curved AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
The Indian version of the Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G series smartphone comes with Active Halo lights using artificial intelligence. This smartphone will be available in Obsidian Black, Titanium Gold and Old Green colors. As for optics, it will feature a 108-megapixel triple rear camera with 3x lossless zoom and a 32-megapixel front camera.
Notably, the global version of the Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G is priced at $289 (approximately Rs. 24,000) and the Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G is priced at $309 (approximately Rs. 25,000). The former is available in Titanium Gold, the latter in the Obsidian Black option and both devices are available globally in Vintage Green.
