Indraprastha Strikers, Marwar Spartans Register Big Wins

Udaipur, February 27, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): In the Rockwoods Blazing Strikers Cricket Cup 2026, M.S. Sports Federation Indraprastha Strikers ended their campaign on a winning note with a commanding six-wicket victory over Wonder Cricket Club Noida Dankaur Yoddhaj.

Batting first, Wonder Cricket Club Noida Dankaur Yoddhaj scored 180 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Indraprastha Strikers chased down the target in 18.1 overs, scoring 182 for four wickets with aggressive batting.

Lakshya Dalal was the hero of the match, smashing a blistering 100 off just 42 balls, including eight fours and eight sixes. Yash Dabas delivered an all-round performance, claiming three wickets and remaining unbeaten on 47 runs to guide his team to victory. Yash Bhatia also contributed with 56 runs off 40 balls, hitting seven fours and two sixes. Harshit Sethi picked up two wickets, conceding 38 runs in 3.1 overs.

After the match, Avinash Manhas, currently part of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru IPL squad, said the team would work on areas of improvement and aim for a strong start next season. Yash Dabas was awarded the “Player of the Match” title and received a ₹5,000 cheque and a special gift from chief guest Arun Mandot, President of Jain Social Group International Federation Mewar Region. Kartik Yadav, founder of Indian Sports and Fitness Society, and R. Chandra, Secretary of Vigorous Cricket Club, were also present.

In another match, Spartans Cricket Academy Marwar Spartans defeated L.B. Shastri Aravali Titans by six wickets to enter the semi-finals unbeaten. The match was played at Wonder Cement Cricket Academy, Shikarbadi Cricket Ground.

Batting first, Aravali Titans were all out for 155 in 19.3 overs. Bharat Sharma scored 56 runs off 34 balls, including four fours and six sixes. For Marwar Spartans, 18-year-old Gaurav Jajra delivered an outstanding bowling spell, taking six wickets for 32 runs in the T20 match. Captain Ravi Bishnoi’s guidance was credited for motivating the young bowler.

Chasing 156, Marwar Spartans achieved the target in 16 overs, scoring 158 for four wickets. Shubham Garhwal played a rapid knock of 48 off 18 balls, striking two fours and six sixes. Jonty Sindhu also claimed two wickets for 24 runs in three overs.

Gaurav Jajra was named “Player of the Match” and received a ₹5,000 cheque and a memento from former Ranji Trophy player Dilip Verma. Harshvardhan Jain, Joint Secretary of Udaipur District Cricket Association, and BCCI Level-1 coach Vatsalya Yadav were present at the ceremony.
