Indian Railways Introduces Two Special Holi Trains from Rewari

Rewari, March 9 – In a major relief for commuters and festival travelers, the Indian Railways has announced the launch of two Holi special trains passing through Rewari. These trains will cater to the increased passenger demand during the festive season, ensuring smoother and more convenient travel options.

According to Captain Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of North Western Railway, these special train services will operate on a bi-weekly basis, providing additional connectivity between Sabarimati and Haridwar.

The two Holi special trains will be operational from March 9 to March 31, covering a total of seven trips each in both directions.

1. Train No. 09425 – Sabarimati to Haridwar Bi-Weekly Special

  • Departure: Every Thursday and Sunday from Sabarimati at 5:20 PM
  • Arrival:
    • Jaipur at 3:40 AM (next day)
    • Haridwar at 5:00 PM (next day)
  • Duration: Approximately 24 hours
  • Total Trips: Seven round trips between March 9 and March 30

2. Train No. 09426 – Haridwar to Sabarimati Bi-Weekly Special

  • Departure: Every Friday and Monday from Haridwar at 9:00 PM
  • Arrival: Sabarimati at 10:30 PM (next day)
  • Duration: Approximately 25 hours
  • Total Trips: Seven round trips between March 10 and March 31
