Dubai: An Indian won $1 million under the Dubai Duty Free Millennium promotion in a draw at the Dubai International Airport on Wednesday.

India-based Simalakonda Krishna is the 230th Indian to be promoted since 1999.
The Millenium Millionaire drawing was followed by a Finest Surprise drawing for three luxury cars.
Henry Ball, a 55-year-old Indian living in Dubai, won the Mercedes Benz S 500. Paul has lived in Dubai since 1999 and has been promoting Dubai Duty Free regularly for 15 years. A father of two, he works as an executive director at a multinational healthcare company.
“I have been buying tickets for a long time, but I never lose hope. “I know I’ll get lucky one day — now,” he said.
Emirati Ibrahim Al Nuaimi won the Mercedes Benz G63. He was not immediately available for comment.
Ajasmon K.S., a 36-year-old Indian living in Sharjah. won the Aprilia Tuono V4 Factory 1100 motorcycle. has been a permanent Duty Free operator in Dubai for five years. A father of one, he works as a sales manager in the cleaning and sanitation industry in Ajman.
“The money raised from the sale of the bike will go a long way in helping my family build our future in Kerala,” he said.
