INDIAN ARMY TREKKING EXPEDITION TO MIN SAR PASS (HP)

Jaipur : Dot on Target Division’s Trekking Expedition Embarks on Audacious Sar Pass Trek in Parvati Valley of Himachal Pradesh. A 15-member trekking expedition team from the Dot on Target Division was flagged off by Major General Ashish Shah, General Officer Commanding Dot On Target Division, on September 25, 2023, at Hisar Military Station.

The expedition is set to embark on the challenging Sar Pass trek, a 12-day adventure in the picturesque Parvati Valley, Himachal Pradesh. This audacious trek will kick off at Jari village in Kullu district and culminate at the majestic Sar Pass Peak.

The expedition includes three officers, two junior commissioned officers, and ten non-commissioned officers and sepoys, each embodying the ethos of bravery and commitment. Trekking is an integral adventure activity regularly undertaken by the Indian Army. It not only builds courage, camaraderie, and endurance among our soldiers but also imparts the invaluable ability to navigate uncertainty.
