India Poised for Historic Win Against New Zealand in T20 World Cup Final: Lakshmi Ratan Shukla

Ahmedabad, March 8: The final match of the T20 World Cup will take place on Sunday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, where India will face New Zealand. Fans across the country are eagerly anticipating this thrilling encounter. Former cricketer Lakshmi Ratan Shukla has expressed confidence that India will emerge victorious and make history.

In a conversation in Howrah, Shukla emphasized the significance of today’s final, stating that the eyes of cricket fans nationwide will be on this match. He expressed hope that the Indian team will perform well and secure the World Cup trophy.

Shukla noted that if India wins the final, they will become the first team to win the T20 World Cup consecutively, as no team has managed to retain the trophy in this format. He highlighted the impressive performance of the Indian team and expressed his belief that they will create history at the Ahmedabad stadium.

He recalled that India last won the final under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma and is optimistic about a victory this time under the leadership of Suryakumar Yadav.

Shukla pointed out that the Indian batting lineup will face a significant challenge against New Zealand’s bowlers in this final. He praised the Indian batsmen for disrupting the line and length of opposing bowlers throughout the tournament. He believes that if the opening pair and the middle order perform well, India has a strong chance of winning the match.

Regarding the New Zealand team, Shukla acknowledged their good form in the tournament, advising India not to take the match lightly, as carelessness can lead to dire consequences in T20 matches.

He also commended Indian opener Sanju Samson for his remarkable performances in the last two matches, predicting that he will contribute runs in the final as well.

Shukla concluded by stating that the final is set to be an exciting affair, noting that India has never beaten New Zealand in a T20 World Cup match. A victory today would not only be historic but would also set and break several records.
