Ashwin noted that Sanju Samson had a quick start in the previous match against Namibia but emphasized that the team is likely hoping for Abhishek’s comeback.

Regarding Samson’s dismissal against Namibia, Ashwin remarked, “He just tapped the ball to the fielder. It seemed like his mind wasn’t very clear. He didn’t expect the ball to be there. Such a mental state can affect any player. It’s essential to focus on this. If I were in his position, I would advise him not to overthink and play fearlessly. That’s all I would say to him.”
