India Bioenergy and Tech Expo Set for August 11-13

Greater Noida, August 6: Preparations for the India Bioenergy and Tech Expo-2026, scheduled to take place from August 11 to 13 at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, have reached their final stages. Gautam Buddha Nagar District Magistrate Medha Roopam held a review meeting with officials from various departments to assess the arrangements for this significant international event.

The meeting focused on security, traffic management, parking, cleanliness, health services, fire safety, and other essential preparations, with officials instructed to ensure timely completion of all arrangements.

According to the administration, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is expected to visit on August 12. The Chief Minister will inaugurate the expo and may interact with experts and industry representatives while touring various exhibition stalls.

In light of the Chief Minister’s visit, the district and police administration are taking special precautions regarding security and traffic management. The aim of the India Bioenergy and Tech Expo-2026 is to promote bioenergy solutions for a “low carbon world.” The event will showcase the latest innovations related to clean energy, green technology, and sustainable development.

Leading companies, industry experts, policymakers, scientists, and investors from India and abroad will participate in the expo, where extensive discussions on future energy needs and environmental protection will take place. The three-day expo will feature special sessions on green hydrogen, compressed biogas, biodiesel, sustainable aviation fuel, waste-to-energy, biomass, carbon markets, and other emerging green technologies. Experts will also share insights on investment opportunities in industries, commercial applications of new technologies, and government policies.

Organizers expect over 25 conference sessions, more than 120 national and international speakers, over 150 exhibition stalls, and participation from more than 1,000 representatives and 15,000 visitors from the industry and business sectors. This will further solidify Noida’s position as a major hub for energy and technological innovations on an international scale.

District Magistrate Medha Roopam has directed officials to ensure that all arrangements are completed on time and to a high standard, considering the Chief Minister’s proposed program and the international nature of the event, so that representatives and visitors from across the country and abroad do not face any inconvenience. The administration aims to make this expo safe, well-organized, and successful, thereby giving a new impetus to green energy and investment in Uttar Pradesh.
