Udaipur, September 26 (Udaipur Kiran News): The Income Tax Department today successfully conducted an outreach programme on “Procedures for Registration and Approval under Sections 12AB and 80G of the Income Tax Act” at Guru Nanak Public School Sabha. The session saw participation from over 100 stakeholders, including chartered accountants, tax professionals, trustees of charitable organisations, and representatives of educational institutions.

Shri Manoj Kumar, Joint Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemption), Jaipur, graced the event as the chief guest and shared valuable insights during the session. Shri Hempal Chaudhary, Income Tax Officer (Exemption), Udaipur, also addressed the gathering and explained the procedural aspects in detail.
The programme featured a comprehensive presentation on the registration process under Section 12AB and the approval procedure under Section 80G. This was followed by an interactive discussion with stakeholders. Shri Manoj Kumar responded to queries raised by participants and provided clarity on the provisions and relevant guidelines of the Income Tax Act.
