In a first, ‘full member’ India participates in SCO Summit at Qingdao

Chinese President Xi Jinping welcomed the leaders of the member nations at the annual summit.

This is the first summit after India gained full membership of the SCO.

At Qingdao, India is likely to pitch for concerted regional and global action against terror networks and favour effective connectivity links.

Many other regional issues will be discussed at this edition of the SCO summit.
