
Dubai : Mohammad Haris has been included in Pakistan’s T20 World Cup squad in place of injured Fakhar Zaman. The Event Technical Committee of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 has approved Mohammad Haris as Zaman’s replacement.
Zaman suffered a posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) injury to his right knee, following which he was ruled out of the World Cup and Haris was named as his replacement.
A replacement for a player requires the approval of the Event Technical Committee, only after the replacement player can be officially added to the team.
