Mumbai, September 9 (Kiran News) — Shares of Housing & Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) traded marginally higher on Tuesday after the company announced it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority (NMRDA), Maharashtra.

The non-binding MoU aims to establish a collaborative partnership under which HUDCO will explore and provide funding support of up to ₹11,300 crore over the next five years. The funds will be utilised for land acquisition, housing, and infrastructure development projects in the Nagpur Metropolitan Region.
In addition, HUDCO will also extend consultancy services and capacity-building support to address the emerging needs of NMRDA.
On the BSE, HUDCO was trading at ₹217.40, up by ₹0.25 or 0.12 percent from the previous close of ₹217.15. The stock opened at ₹220.00 and touched an intraday high of ₹221.00 and a low of ₹216.65. A total of 37,641 shares changed hands during the session.
The Group ‘A’ stock, with a face value of ₹10, has a 52-week high of ₹263.95 (December 17, 2024) and a 52-week low of ₹158.90 (March 3, 2025). Over the last week, it has moved between ₹213.20 and ₹221.00.
HUDCO’s current market capitalization stands at ₹43,471.26 crore. The Government of India, as promoter, holds 75 percent stake in the company, while institutions and non-institutional investors hold 12.22 percent and 12.78 percent respectively.
HUDCO primarily finances social housing and residential real estate by lending to state governments and their agencies, which then extend finance to, or utilize it for, end beneficiaries.
