Honor has officially confirmed that its next mid-premium smartphone, the Honor X9C 5G, will be launched in India on July 7, available exclusively on Amazon. Ahead of its release, the brand has already teased several key features, including display specs, battery details, camera setup, and more.

Sleek Curved AMOLED Display with Smooth Refresh Rate
The Honor X9C will sport a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 3840Hz PWM dimming, designed for smoother visuals and reduced eye strain.
Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 Performance with Android 15
Under the hood, the X9C will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset — the same processor used in devices like the Realme P1 Pro and Oppo F29. It will be paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, with no confirmation yet on additional variants. The phone will run on MagicOS 9 based on Android 15, and will include several AI-powered features.
Long-Lasting 6,600mAh Battery with 66W Fast Charging
One of the phone’s highlights is its 6,600mAh silicon-carbon battery, which supports 66W fast wired charging. Honor claims improved battery longevity and rapid top-ups with this new battery tech.
Premium Design with Strong Durability
Despite its large battery, the Honor X9C remains thin and light, measuring 7.98mm in thickness and weighing under 200 grams. The phone also comes with an IP65 rating, offering dust resistance and protection against water splashes.
Honor is also touting the phone’s durability, claiming it can survive drops from up to 2 metres, making it one of the more rugged options in its class.
Color variants confirmed include Titanium Black and Jade Cyan.
108MP Main Camera and Selfie Lens
For photography, the X9C comes with a 108MP primary camera featuring both OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization). While Honor hasn’t detailed the secondary lenses officially, global variants of the device include a 5MP ultra-wide sensor and a 16MP front-facing selfie camera.
Sale Date and Availability in India
The Honor X9C 5G will be available for purchase starting 12 July, exclusively via Amazon India. The pricing is expected to be in the mid-range segment, making it a potential competitor to phones like the iQOO Z9x and Redmi Note 13 Pro.
